How are you all? I hope you all have been tremendously good and kickass as usual. For those, who don’t feel the same way, I am here girlies and will help you bring back the spark in you. April had brought me many surprises and I am typically happy this time of the year despite my semester exams trying to suck the happiness out of me. Though I despise the concept of examinations and I honestly wish that I do not have to go through countless theory exams in my final year, I am still managing to be happy about everything else. Now you must be thinking, what makes me so happy? Well, you would feel a little bit happier to know that I have been featured in the Spring Issue of Modachic Magazine. And it is not the feature that makes me happy, it is the theme “Revival”. I am so honoured to share the space with fashionistas from around the world and all of us are sharing our experiences of how we get back after we fall. It uncovers some of the most inspirational and motivating stories.
Okay, so it’s been a long time, I have not done any soul-talk here on my blog. But I am sure, the ones who DM me on my social media handles, definitely get to have a good friend who is always available for deep soul-talks. Those who are here for the first time, you can read this blog post to know me a little better.
But this time I have chosen to talk about how I get back on track after I hit the lowest phases of my life. I have recently been receiving messages about how I am always on my toes, and how I manage to put blog posts while at the same time manage my Instagram theme. Well, it is no sorcery I tell you. My secret to getting back to the right track is reading. I do some soul searching for myself with deep meaning poetry and trust me amidst those words, I find myself back. Everybody has a unique place where they find her or his lost soul. Someone listens to music to lessen the pain, some would go to mountains, some may go for a swim and for some it may be just in the shower. For me, it’s in the thousand words that revolve around my mind. There have been countless moments when I felt broken and low and then I got up. This time I made those memories permanent so that I could remind myself of the toughest times of my life and how I overcame it with sass. Now you must be wondering, what is this permanency I am talking about. Well, love, I took help of My PicBook for making all these memories permanent and eternal. To make my April even more special for me, My PicBook team sent me the PicBook on my birthday itself. And yes, it was a cherry on top. Honestly, it made my day brighter and happier. For those who have never heard about My PicBook, here is a brief brand overview.
My PicBook is an online premium quality picture book service. They print all your special memories, make it everlasting by placing it inside an elegant book and deliver it to your doorstep. The pictures are as good and fresh as your memories. Be it your wedding, birthday, farewell, anniversary or any other occasion, you can lock your memories into a storybook which will be no less than a fairy tale. They deal in picture books (4x6 inches and 6x8 inches). You can choose from 20-50 photos. They also deal in snapshots sized 4x3 inches. So, you can decorate your walls or choose to get a storybook full of memories. The choice is yours. To know more about My PicBook, visit their website.
The cover of the PicBook is exciting and very artistic. And they different sets of cover photos too which are equally vibrant and creative. Have a look at the cover page of my picture book and you will know why I was so happy about receiving this PicBook.
I would also like to show you all what’s inside My PicBook. Well, as you all know that I am an aesthetic fanatic and I love to play with words. So, my story had to be full of aesthetic clicks and deep poetry all of which are related to getting back on track. Additionally, I am a person who fantasizes more about a cohesive feed theme than my wedding dress. So, yes it was of utmost importance the pictures must be in accordance with that. It is a general outlook, that the colour we see on our computer screens might be slightly different from the colour after we take a printout of it. Now, I was quite sure that would happen in case of My PicBook too, as I had the same experience with other printing services in my neighbourhood. But to be very honest, I was surprised and utterly delighted to see that the pictures were as fresh and colourful as I sent to the My PicBook team. The glossy finish of the print is exceptionally smooth and nowhere I could find a scratch on it.
Next was checking if the print leaves some stain on the adjacent page. With poor printing quality comes the problem of colour being transferred to the back of the previous page. Those colour stains look very unclean and make me go crazy literally (I feel I have certain OCD issues with this). My PicBook does not have a single stained page on it. The printing is of high quality undoubtedly. The best part about My PicBook is that all the photos come with perforated pages, which makes it super easy to tear them. You can even frame these and decorate your walls or you can even use these pictures in handmade greeting cards. Now, how cool is that? One PicBook and multiple uses. All you need is a little bit of creativity. I also got myself 8 Polaroid pictures for free (you only need to give the shipping charges). These polaroid pictures are best for flat lays and home décor. It was a total win-win situation for me. What else does an artist need? I will now leave you to go through the pictures and the quotes. I will be extremely glad if this helps someone to calm their senses and find their lost soul.
