We are in the most cherished and romantic months of the year when you are all set for the celebration of love. If you clicked on to see this story, you have to admit that you are a late bloomer just like me. Better late than never, I would say. I know that you are looking to quench your sartorial thirst and you have already got yourself too exhausted searching the websites for the perfect dress for Valentine’s Day. Most girls spend hours in search of the one faultless dress for the occasion. If you have found that one dress which you feel is just apt for the date night, then you are all ready to shine, girl. But if not, then, to be honest, you do not have the time to riffle through a plethora of valentine’s day outfits. I would rather suggest you look closely in your closet. Because that is the only place where you can find out the chicest ensembles and all the fashion staples that you would be needing for your big date night.
Trust me on this, the best of my looks are the ones that are curated by clubbing statement pieces with snappy trends. I am bringing you a trove of 5 quick and easy Valentine’s Day looks that I shot at my home in less than 2 hours. I picked all the attires from my closet and refrained myself from any impulsive shopping. These Valentine’s day looks are quick, easy and not an iota boring. The color palette is handpicked reckoning the season of love. You will find these looks perky to elegant, which means I have one look for every fashion fetish of yours. Without losing any pulse, let us move on to the looks.
Look 1 - Chic
On Valentine’s Day, we see girls being dressed in chic outerwear as they head to their date night. Majority of the fashion crowd elect chic outfits as their prime fashion alternative. Because we are talking about celebrating the love season, let us start with red (the color of love). I took a logo tee of Coca Cola. It’s a red colored tee with the company’s logo. Tucked the tee inside a front zipper thigh length black mini skirt. And over it, I sported a red jacket. Playing with this color is a bit tricky but it’s Valentine’s Day, baby. So do not hesitate from flaunting the reds and show your sassy side. To complete the look, I wore black combat boots and took my favorite black sling bag. I have styled this bag with almost every outfit in my closet and I still can’t get enough of it. This bag is my go-to fashion accessory as it is a team player.
Look 2 - Elegant
Moving on to the next look, I am embracing the classics here. This look is strictly for the ones, who would like to keep it sophisticated and graceful. Teamed up together are a pair of white flared pants, a red sleeveless tee, and a white fur coat. The red sleeveless tee is tightly tucked in and the fur coat is donned on top of it. Fashion eaters from all around the world are seen wearing faux fur jackets from the streets to the runways. Unsurprisingly my penchant for the basic yet statement pieces is undying. A classic white shirt or neutral flared pants are the fashion staples of bloggers, models, and even celebrities. I count on your fashion judgment as well and I bet that your closet has got a lovely stock of these timeless garbs. Just like the uptown girls, I chose a red embellished sling bag and a layered neck piece. That’s the beauty of accessories. They can instantly make you look rich. So be very selective and chose the right and classic accessories always. Whenever you are going for flared trousers, make sure to wear high heels as they tend to make your legs elongated. Keeping this in account, I finished off my look with perspex heels.
Look 3 - Girl Next Door
Our third favorite fashion choice would be the girl next door. Such cheerful and lively looks make it to the Instagram worthy outfits list instantly. Since spring is around the corner, it feels redundant to spend on wintery pieces. Sticking up to pieces that give fresh spring vibes is the highlight of this look. A cactus-print top tucked in a ruffle red skirt and over it goes a denim jacket to make you look cooler. Playing with red is a must when it comes to Valentine’s Day, so a red sling bag with red pumps is befitting and gets the approval of fashion junkies. Catch me outside, how about that?
Look 4 - Sporty
Every girl is not the same but unique and creative in their own way. There is no reason to leave your sporty persona and fashion statement behind because of the societal norms. You can be cock-a-hoop on Valentine’s Day without sacrificing your comfort or feeling shy about your style game. I sported a knee-length floral dress and wore a white snuggly pullover on top of it. For footwear, I went ahead with ugly white sneakers which are high on-trend charts right now. Accessorized the look with a layered neck piece and a classic bracelet to rank high on comfortability matrix. This look certainly gets a 100% wearability from my side and you can emulate it right away.
Look 5 - Experimental
The final look is dedicated to all the girls who are bold, fearless and always like to take it a notch up with their experimental fashion game. I wore a red midi skirt as a tube dress here and wore a black vintage belt on the waist to give the illusion of a slimmer waistline. I donned a pink denim jacket and perspex heels along with it. To accessorize it, I took a pink sling bag and made a low ponytail to finish the look. This look is experimental as I am wearing a skirt as a dress and also because I am teaming up red and pink here. I was dubious at first about this look, but after spotting a dozen celebrities in this color combo, I got the go-ahead.
